Big Wave Riders hail from Helsinki, Finland. They are inspired by waves, echoes and experimental rhythms with an electronic touch. Big Wave Riders are influenced by the music that touched them most when they were teenagers.
“Our music is not trying to fit into any certain genre. We make music without mathematics or accurate calculations. The songs are fast, slow, rhythmic and with variety”
Earlier this week we announced the new Prince Of Assyria album, Changing Places which is released via Soliti on the 11th April and available on Vinyl, CD & Digital formats. Some pre-order links are already available:
The New Tigers - Don’t Know Where to Go (Official Video)
From “The Badger”, 2013. Released by Soliti
“The video for “Don’t Know Where to Go” is where the actual sound waves of the music and the images they evoke shake hands. The grain on the speaker cone brings visible the mass of the music, whilst in the midst of it lies the band behind the music. The imagined and the factual interact with each other finally merging into a perfect blend of the two. The video is inspired by Gary Hill’s video art “Mediations” (vimeo.com/5596880).”
